For those of you looking for the complete set of iPhone 6 features that were revealed at the Keynote, here’s the full spec. Note that many of the features are commonly shared across iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus but this list is about iPhone 6 spec:

iPhone 6 Features

Form Factor The iPhone 6 looks very much like how all the leaked prototypes and models look. It’s taller than the iPhone 5s and a bit wider too. The display spans 4.7″ as previously reported/rumored. The iPhone 6 is about 6.9mm thin, which is thinner than the iPhone 5s (7.6mm). Again, this was something we’ve heard about through the leaked Foxconn schematics. The form factor is very much iPod Touch-like: curved edges, extremely thin and possibly, lighter than the iPhone 5s. iPhone 6 Display No mention of a sapphire display. This was also kind of hinted at. Instead, Phil Schiller talked about what seems to be “ion-strengthened” display. It’s still a retina display with intense PPI numbers, but ultimately, it’s not OLED. It’s a better version of LCD. The resolution on the iPhone 6 will be 750x1440px. Interface The iPhone 6 features the usual iOS 8 interface. Apps built for the iPhone 5s will scale to fit the iPhone 6’s resolution. Judging by how usability works on most 4.7” devices in the market, this one should be easy to use with a single finger. However, there’s something called Reachability. Reachability Reachability is a nifty little feature that lets you access the top-areas of the screen without having to rely on both the hands to use the iPhone 6. You tap twice on the home button (not click, just touch) and the top half of the iPhone 6 display will slide down to about half the height of the screen. You should be able to tap the top parts now without having to use both the hands. iPhone Camera Apple spent a lot of time covering the camera. Unlike Samsung though, you aren’t getting larger resolution. The iPhone 6 features an 8 MP camera, same as the iPhone 5s. The iPhone has a larger 1.5um sensor with an aperture value of f/2.2. Pretty good, if you ask me or anyone who cares enough about smartphone cameras. There’s also the much-rumored true-tone flash. The iSight can do 1080p at 60fps. Slo-mo works at 240fps which is almost ultra-slo-mo. Apple is really taking this far. But all this is just the beginning. Focus, Stabilization, Sensors What’s really impressive is the (pun definitely intended) focus on autofocus. Schiller kept talking about what he called focus pixels. The iSight camera comes with phase detection autofocus that works faster than the usual autofocus on existing iSight cameras. The iPhone 6 has digital image stabilization and cinematic video stabilization. The face, smile and blink detection are also amped up to perform better, faster. Processor Apple iPhone 6 features an A8 processor, 64-bit and all that. No one was waxing lyrical about the chip though. It looks like a routine upgrade from A7 right now, but folks over at Arstechnica or AnandTech should be able to do extensive tests on it once the iPhone 6 releases. The A8 is 13% smaller, 20% faster at core processing and 50% faster at processing graphics relative to the A7. Co-Processor But the M8 co-processor does steal some of the limelight. That’s because – remember the barometric sensor chip we talked about? Well, M8 gets barometric sensors that can read relative atmospheric pressure and thus measure elevation. A cool tidbit here is that M8 is now equipped to know – automatically – when you’re cycling, running or just walking. Connectivity Connectivity gets a minor but vital boost with the iPhone 6 (and 6 Plus). You have not just enhanced Wi-Fi with 3x faster Wi-Fi for the iPhone 6, but there are more features on the roster. The iPhone 6 will feature over 20 LTE bands which are touted as the largest number by any smartphone. There’s also VoLTE which lets you make clearer calls, as claimed by Apple. Not to forget, as the rumors had it, iPhone 6 also supports Wi-Fi calling if your carrier lets you use it. Memory The iPhone 6 comes in three variants: 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB. Yes, you noticed that there’s no 32GB (rumored correctly and we didn’t buy the rumor). There was no talk about the RAM (as is common with Apple) but it just looks like Apple will be sticking to a 1GB RAM (a recent Geekbench test revealed as much). iPhone 6 Battery Life The iPhone 6 will run for about 14hrs on normal usage. What about the iPhone 6 price? Apple’s sticking to the usual pricing. Here’s the iPhone 6 price list: iPhone 6 price:

16GB: $199, 64GB: $299, 128GB: $399

Note that this is on a 2-year contract. iPhone 6 Release Date The iPhone 6 will be available for pre-orders starting on September 12th. That pretty much means Apple servers would be frying on that day. However, the product releases officially in the market on September 19th. There’s much more that we’ll be covering over the next few days. What are your thoughts on the 4.7″ iPhone 6?
